| • In one God who is the creator and ruler of the universe. We believe that He eternally exists in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. • The entire Bible is inspired by God and is God’s Word to all people. • Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. • Eternal salvation is a gift from God to man and cannot be earned by self-improvement or good works. • The Holy Spirit lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation and provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth and guidance for righteous living. • That all Christians are commanded to be buried with our Lord in the waters of baptism. • In the regular partaking of the Lord’s Supper as an act of remembering Jesus’ sacrificial death on the cross for our sins. • Every Christian should be in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by obeying God’s Word and yielding to the Holy Spirit. |
